Super cute Apple and Pear pies

A couple of weekends ago we went to our close by biological farm and hand picked apples and pears. Jonathan likes the crust a lot so we made one-one Super cute apples and pear crumble pies. In the size of cupcakes they are perfect as snack or for your kid's party!

Now that the schools are again open, this is a great treat to give to your kids. With or without chocolate. I use dark chocolate and a bit of butter for the glaze.

Cute as a cherry pie

I wanted to bake a cherry pie for a long time, but Jonathan doesn't like the filling of pies much. So I thought let's give him more crust and make small pies instead. It is a bit of more work, but they are super cute and very tasty. I also added some of the wild cherries from our garden.

Sandrine's moist mango cake

Mango is an aromatic fruit, eaten as is, as juice, as sorbet, in coctails and many other ways. a few years ago friends of ours returned from holiday in Vietnam and cooked a delicious dinner inspired from their trip. And the dessert was a delicious mango cake.

Cream-licious baked cheese cake with raspberry sauce

This cake is creamy and delicious, therefore cream-licious. It is very quick to prepare but long to bake. They say the secret to a backed cheese cake is not to have a single crack when you take it out of the over. I can safely say I was successful :)

Homemade popsicles for kids

I don't know how it is at your house, but in our house water popsicles are a must. Especially with the summer temperatures raising, you don't want your kids to be eating artificial coloring and aromas. Just make your own popsicles, it is simple, fun and tastes awesome!

Summer halvas with refreshing orange taste

I wanted a fresh version of halva and  I was inspired by this recipe from Kitchen Stories but the execution is similar to the traditional halva ta comes from my birthplace Lesvos. Simple, delicious and ready in 20 minutes!

Super bio-cookies from Spelt flour

Jonathan likes to have cookies and milk for breakfast. He had them during Easter while we were visiting our family in Athens so I thought to try an make a healthier variety for him. I used spelt biological flour, olive oil very little sugar and grape molasses. This recipe makes about 24 cookies :)

Zambia's juicy orange pie

I wanted to try an orange pie for a long time. I have never tried it and it was a bit risky to make without having a reference. I was happy to find the recipe in Zambia's book from Kitchen Stories and I have to say it is one of the easiest desserts in syrup!

Susana's mouthwatering praline chocolate cake

This cake I ate for the first time at my girlfriend's house after a very nice dinner birthday party. The structure is similar to brownie but it has a strong praline taste and it melts in your mouth. It is quite sweet so best served with berries such as raspberries or strawberries. I baked this for my birthday.
